A Japanese “Hagi” ware style light pink with sgrafitto/combed wavy lines.
H 3” W 2.75” Capacity: 200ml
From a small batch made in the Summer of ‘23 using a rustic ‘brick’ type clay. The piece you are seeing is typical of this small batch.
These robust cups may feature occasional “flaws” which are characteristic of my process ie: where a coal inclusion has burnt out leaving a small surface hole.
N.B. If you are looking for a pristine piece - this batch is not for you!
